It looks nice. I kind of feel like graphics are stabilizing for a while, and once that happens remakes will get easier and easier. Then we can compare modern games to old ones with an unprejudiced eye. Read more

@arionfrost: There haven't been as many great RPGs in general, WRPGs have suffered heartily in the last eight years or so. I think a lot of the people complaining about JRPGs might not like RPGs in general, and just want a sandbox instead. Read more

@Kotaku Reject: The only series I would really like a reboot of is Pilot Wings. Some games could do with some UI updates, like Betrayal at Krondor, but generally I'd rather see a new game that explores the world from a different angle rather than a reboot. Read more

It felt like most NPCs were residents of sparsely populated islands rather than worlds, and they didn't seem to interact with each other. The lack of writing made me it hard to care about most NPCs.
