Yup, I have a swapped BASSTOP set, and they’re absolutely 100% perfect. You don’t lose any functionality and the d-pad feels completely authentic. A great product that illustrates that Nintendo should have gone with this or at least provided it as an alternative option from the beginning. Read more

As it has been stated elsewhere in the comments, just buy a BASSTOP replacement shell for original Nintendo Joycons with a d-pad and you won’t lose any functionality at all.
