Some complained that stamping out license plates for no pay was a menial chore, but there are some prison laborers who still take pride in a job well done. Here are 20 of Kotaku's.
Last week's challenge asked folks to put a game theme on an every-day item, the license plate. It was a pretty broad theme: Some went for easy laughs (Quest, BeefSupreme), others were a little more clever (DeadDuck, Dayvie, Roweswood).
boopadoo's Rapture plate was spot on - but would a commune full of libertarians believe enough in government regulation to have license plates? SaggDog7's tribute to Dead Rising was the best example of that theme. data_enabler's D.C. plate from Fallout also caught my eye.
But the week's best belongs to FiveSpeed, who turned in many excellent realistic recreations, and whose six-letter vanity plate for MotorStorm speaks volumes about the game.
Congrats to this week's winners, and we'll see you here tomorrow for a topic of extreme current interest that should stoke a huge flood of great submissions.
