North American PlayStation 3 owners won't have to wait as long for their downloadable content, as Sony is bumping up its weekly PlayStation Store digital releases from Thursdays to Tuesdays.
The time shift to earlier in the week means that the PS3 crowd won't have to sit idly by as their Xbox 360 peers enjoy weekly downloadable goodies. It may, in some cases, mean that the PlayStation Network fan gets their content a little bit earlier than those purchasing similar content from Xbox Live Marketplace.
The first regular Tuesday bound PlayStation Network update brings with it the Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package map pack add-on and Fat Princess: A Fistful of Cake for PSP.
