Your NBA Jam Rosters Are Set

Illustration for article titled Your NBA Jam Rosters Are Set completed its two-part slow-reveal of the full roster for NBA Jam, wrapping up today with the players, legends and playable mascots of the Western Conference. Hit the link for the full roundup.

As reported by ESPN senior NBA writer Mark Stein (unusual that he's on this case), most teams will ahve three current players and at least one legend. Newer franchises might swap the legend for a mascot - although Bryant Reeves is in town as the Grizzlies' legend, from when they played in another city. Some teams don't have legends because of contractual restrictions or their lack of membership in the NBA Players' Association.

Nine teams were given a fourth active player, where EA Sports judged fan voting to be too close to call on who made the cut.

Of note: Michael Jordan does not appear for the Bulls. Obviously, that's because he's the cover man, and appears in-game, for NBA 2K11.

NBA Jam releases Oct. 5 for the Wii; a free version for Xbox 360 and PS3 is included with a one-use code in retail copies of NBA Elite 11 for both consoles.

Platypus Man

Lame, they put Johnson in the (formerly Charlotte) Hornets instead of Muggsy Bogues. I loved playing as that short devil in the original...

This is literally the only basketball-related thing I care about at all.
