Some people play video games to relax. Other people do other things to relax — like get a massage. A new Japanese Xbox 360 game is combining both.

The limited edition version of CROSS†CHANNEL comes packed with pocket-sized massager. Larger versions of these massagers are used to loosen stiff backs as well as loosen other things.

This mini-massager is apparently a codenma massager strap, which has been available since last summer. It looks remarkably similar to adult wands such as this, and it sure makes a lot of racket.

The Xbox 360 version features much more new content than the PSP version, which is a port of the original adult visual novel for PC. The game is currently unrated, and it will be out this March in Japan. The wand? Its rating depends on use.

I'm confused. This is CROSS†CHANNEL we are talking about right? That game with awesome plot and amazing character development for the protagonist? That game that made me cry like a little girl everytime Signal played?

This should be a must buy for everyone who hasn't already played it. Why would you bundle a "massager" with this? Doesn't that just make it harder to buy the game?

Customer: I would like buy CROSS†CHANNEL.

Clerk: With a massager or without one?

Customer: The limited edition.

Clerk: *trying to move away from the customer* That will be 9000 yen. *fetches gloves before touching the money* I hope you "enjoy" the game.

See the point I'm trying to make. If I had a 360 I would probably buy this just to thank Romeo Tanaka for creating such an amazing story, but I would make sure to get the regular edition, because I don't want any one to have any strange ideas about how I spend my free time (playing erotic games is already bad enough, even though I play them for the plot, playing games with massagers is just too much).

Or is this another troll attempt like with the original release. All of the promo material made the game seen like any run-of-the-mill school love comedy porn game, but the game was actually so much more (it was Higurashi no Naku Koro ni before there was Higurashi no Naku koro ni).

BTW Nanaca Crash was based on CROSS†CHANNEL.
