Rockstar's cop thriller L.A. Noire dominates this coming Tuesday, though RPG enthusiasts on the PC will want to take note of The Witcher 2. For those picking up Noire two DLC extensions are available the day of release via PSN and Xbox Live. Clarification: These extensions are preorder premiums; they are not DLC available for purchase.

  • L.A. Noire (PS3, 360)-Join the LAPD as an ambitious detective trying to unravel a series of grisly murders set in Los Angeles' glitzy postwar era.
  • The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings (PC)-The sequel to 2007's hit role playing game extends the continuity established by Polish fantasy author Andrzej Sapkowski. Just don't call it a Dragon Age clone; this series came first.

L.A. Noire. Was going to pick it up on Amazon, but K-Mart is kickin' ass and taking names as far as game deals are concerned, so I'm going there instead to grab it.
