Once More Into A Trial Subscription, Dear Friends

Kotaku! Happy Thursday to you. Let's celebrate it by chatting in our semi-nightly open thread, where video games, comic books, rap music, movies, YouTube videos and rioting Canadians are on the table for discussion.

I'm about to (very nervously) sign up for a Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited trial, just to see how I like it. I've been meaning to catch up on some old Marvel Comics titles, maybe a few new ones, but don't really dig on acquiring new physical media anymore. Any recommendations for this first time digital comic book buyer?

If you'd rather just enjoy a few links outward and some discussion with your fellow Kotaku commenters, that's cool too. 'Night!

Cobaltios - On the Verge of Departure

A few things of note recently:

- still struggling to find a job (ironically, whenever I find a job posting I can apply for, it's usually located somewhere out of my reach. God dammit...)

- Me and my sister have now maxed our monthly internet download limit of 60GB. It resets in 2 weeks. I seriously hate this.

- Watching a cartoon series I decided to watch due to having renewed interest in it and having never properly seen it beginning to end. Despite how much better the more recent incarnations of that series is, I have to say, for what it is, it ain't half bad.

- Summer now, so am forced to do stuff outside. Not so bad, but it does become bothersome when it's +30 Celsius out there... and they're expecting rain. What. The. Hell?!

I'm not revealing what cartoon series it is, but, to most people my age, they would probably question why I would watch something like that.

Also, for whatever reason, I can easily plow through an entire series if I like it enough and if it's engaging, and they usually end up being cartoons. I try this same thing with an anime, and stop, it takes me forever to think, "hmmm, should I or should I not bother continuing?" In which case, I usually don't bother.

I've finished several "cartoons", and yet, I have yet to finish any of the anime I've started watching. I don't get it.

Finally, anyone have any experience getting an iPod Touch to display .pdf files? Text only?
