In what way, shape or form does Peggle HD qualify as mobile/handheld game of the year? It's just an iPad port of a game released in 2007 that adds nothing new whatsoever. It was up against:

Dead Space IOS

Magnetic Billiards: Blueprint

Quarrel

Super Mario 3D Land

The Nightjar

All of which are games that deserved to win it more since, you know, they were actually games first released in 2011.

So something can be re-eligible for a BAFTA if it's released on a different format? Well I look forward to Batman: Arkham City being nominated for Best Game next year too when it's released on Wii U. Or the 3D version of Titanic winning 10 Oscars.

What a fucking stupid decision. Makes a complete mockery of the voting process, and makes me think the people who voted for it have no fucking clue as to the background of the stuff they're nominating and voting for.

Don't get me wrong, I love Peggle, but I loved it five years ago too. In no way, shape or form should it be winning awards intended for games released in 2011 because Peggle HD adds nothing new whatsoever.
