Origin PC is showing off their obscenely expensive liquid-cooled Xbox 360, gaming computer hybrid at CES next week.

The Big O features a high performance liquid cooled overclocked gaming PC AND a liquid cooled Xbox 360 Slim inside one system. The starting configuration combines the power of an Intel Core i7 930 processor overclocked to 4.9GHz, dual NVidia GTX480 graphics cards, and 6GB of Corsair Dominator memory at 1600 MHz into one beefy, completely water-cooled monstrosity of a gaming rig.

The starting price for the system is $7,669, that's more than what Fahey paid for his 95 Nissan Pathfinder this year. The "high-end" version will set you back $16,669. The founders of the company will be showing off the rig at CES as well as announcing new systems during next week's show.

My top question? Has anyone dropped the cash for one of these systems yet?

Hell, a regular 360 unit would cost more than my dad's last car, which he paid $37 for.

Of course, he bought it from a junkyard in 1972 and fixed it up...uh, what would the price be, adjusted for inflation ^_^?
