This movie sucked so hard. The format was in generic anime style and appropriately only for those simple minded folk who'll eat up anything "Japanese". The entire movie started out campy and annoying, but mildly enjoyable, then turned slowly into mind-numbing anime suck. Not that anime sucks, mind you, but it's following the same format of non-sensical pass-upable trash. The fact that I payed over 20 bucks for it made the blow much harder to take. Sure, it's canonical, but that sure as hell doesn't guarantee a better movie.

If this had debuted in a theater, the masses would much prefer the live-action films over this.
