Activision picked a rather awkward game to help remind players that Mother's Day is this Sunday, May 8. I guess they are trying to say make your mother happy this Sunday, or consume her later and experience her disappointment first-hand.

I like this kind of humor in advertising. It's off-kilter, and to see it from a mainstream corp makes me happier. I'll have to assume that Kotaku is being humorous too, although I got a whiff of stodgy disapproval from Mike Fahey's comment....
