they look like kids from generic anime based off generic kids trading card game.
You can hate yugioh anime, but those character designs were... memorable.
With this done by Sunrise probably. I'd still watch a few eps for awesome fights. Hope the story is not 'gundam like'.
gundam 00 started super strong, with a smart political angle, but the director chickened out to the angry gundam fanboys and turned it into a 'gundam anime'...
