Assassin's Creed: Revelations was supposed to be the first time in the series that a game released for all platforms on the same day. Well, it won't. Ubisoft confirmed to Kotaku that the PC version of Assassin's Creed: Revelations has been delayed until December. No specific December date was given, nor a reason, but we're betting it's not to remove all the DRM from it.

The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game will still release Nov. 15.

Ubisoft's not exactly the only one to do this, most multi-plat titles i can think of are released on PC later than on 360/PS3.

As for the reason, as with every other multi-plat title I'll go with the assumption that it's because it's infinitely easier to pirate games for PC than for consoles, so the console releases get a headstart for the impatient people that might have thought about pirating it.

And don't tell me that never happens, I used to be one of those people.
