I haven't been outside for days. Literally. Days. Today was the first time I left the house, and I did it in a robe to check the mail.

I've been pretty sick for the past few days, so I've basically been sleeping until work starts, working, and then tryign to sleep some more.

I probably should go to the doctor about this cold. A lot of foreigners knock Japanese doctors and the health care here. I've found it to be really good; not sure why those folks knock it. Medicine traditionally comes in powder form; however, increasingly, there are pills and capsules.

Hope I'm feeling better tomorrow—I'd kind of like to go hiking.

Postcard is a daily peek behind the Kotaku East curtain, whether that be game-related or, most likely, not.

Hey Brian, I am looking at moving to Japan at the end of the year, and would be interesting hearing about the cost involved with healthcare in Japan for a foreigner? Do you have insurance? Or is it just supremely expensive when you have to see a doctor/go to hospital? Thanks!!
