These Game of Thrones Deleted Scenes Have Nothing To Do With The PS4

"What is this article doing here?" you may be asking right now. "I mean what on earth?? This has nothing to do with the PlayStation 4!"

Yeah, well, it's time for the nightly off-topic post, and DAMN IT, WE'RE STILL DOING IT.

Everyone looking forward to Game of Thrones season 3? Cool. I am too. I'm looking forward to it half because I like the show, and half because if the wheels are going to start coming off of this sucker, they'll start coming off now. Either way, it should be interesting.

The DVD set of the second season just came out, and with it came some interesting deleted scenes. Up top, you can see a scene between The Hound and Sansa that I really wish had made it into the show, if only because I thought The Hound kinda got short shrift compared to the book. Also, we get to see Tyrion be cool to Sansa again, which is always welcome. Poor Sansa. I know everyone loves Arya, but I actually really like Sansa.

Here are three more deleted scenes:

I've been re-watching Season 2 this past week, and have been enjoying it more the second time than I did the first time. (Not that I didn't like it the first time.) In particular, the scene where Varys tells Tyrion the fable of the three men and the sellsword. Great writing!

Everyone doing okay? Excited after the events of the day? Overwhelmed? Underwhelmed? Just kind of whelmed? Sound off here or over in the Talk Amongst Yourselves forum. Have good chatting, see you tomorrow.

Hell yes! I'm afraid to pick up the books, for fear that it will spoil the TV series for me. Yet I'm dying to know what's the deal with Jaqen and his "Valar Morghulis" thingy.
