The short answer, I hope, is yes, because I'd hate to see any "guide" that beats this thing as worst ever.
The long answer:
The guide appears to be not much more than the Wii instruction manual turned into a bigger, magazine-like instruction guide. The first 28 pages are dedicated to things like using the Photo, News and Forecast channels, browsing the Internet and downloading virtual console games.
Then you get into the meat of the book: descriptions of the five Wii sports games, which take up 30 pages. Next the book moves into the whole turning on the console. Yes, there's a whole page dedicated to this. And using the Remote controller and buying stuff at the store.
Finally, this bit of fluff includes eight pages of Nintendo history and "corporate culture."
It appears the only original content in the whole thing is the entire page dedicated to three blank Miis and the sheet of stickers you can use to customize them. No, I shit you not.
