And here is our own Ashcraft displaying the particulars of the Wii Balance Board that is used to play the upcoming WiiFit. (look at that form, somebody give that man a job on The Price is Right!) I got a chance to check this out in an appointment with Nintendo which was actually quite different from most of the noisy booths around E3. It was very quiet and white and rather serene, the perfect place to try out some yoga moves and exercises will wearing sanitary blue booties provided by the friendly Nintendo rep. Using the balance board is a bit like standing on a scale and actually getting the little red dot to line up in the yellow circle (that's how you tell you are balanced in the on screen display) is actually quite difficult, but that had more to do with my lack of yoga skillz than the board itself. It's a cool little add on, but I can't imagine how else they would implement the use of such a device in any othe game, but knowing Nintendo, they already have something else planned, perhaps something in the Wario ware series...
