looks pretty good but... still.. just good, i mean they made first person aiming and shooting through wood into bullet points... aren't those features of most games lately?

Hmm. That footage didn't impress me at all. Not that it looks bad, but just ... why did they choose that segment to demo? The Mark II was decent, but the regular shooting gameplay was VERY typical MGS stuff. The graphics looked pretty good, but nothing mindblowing.

I'm sure the game will be good, though.

As a matter of fact, they've had world premier footage of Too Human the past 2 nights, plus demos with Dyack and the SK tech director on the combat system and character classes.

I was already looking forward to this game (yes, I played the entire demo at that infamous E3 and felt it was promising). The new footage is more polished by far than anything they've released up till now. The dual stick combat has been given a lot of variety- think geomety wars mixed with diablo- there are 18 different combos of melee and ranged weapon load outs plus 6 different character classes, each with alternate skill tree development. 120 slots in your inventory! Plus the dynamic camera is customizable- set it at different basic zooms (behind you if you're playing a gunner class for example, or high up if you're using the zippy berserker) and it'll go dynamic from there. Charging your spells with combo attacks is required, so even a healer will have to fight before he can heal.

Before, I figured Too Human would have a great story and serviceable but bland gameplay- looks like SK has really put a lot of work into making sure the gameplay mechanics are fun and action packed. Still no release date, though!

Cool but getting so damn close to release I actually prefer not to watch any further stuff especially gameplay.

I just want to experience a whole new game, not a game that I've seen a million times online in videos. That kinda takes some of the "AWESOME" factors from it when you finally play it.

The English & Japanese gameplay demos last year served me well and let me see what it's like. Also, MGO -> Old Snake -> I played it.

Hi, yeah so this has nothing to do with the topic, but im having issues with GTA IV.. my multiplayer isnt working. Played it at my friends place the first time because he lives nearer the store from where I bought the game. The multiplayer was working fine at his house but when I got home later and played it at MY house it just says connecting to game hst or whatever and then changes to "couldn't connect. please try again later" and its been saying that for 3 days now! i hope it wasn't because i played it at my friends house and now its only going to function there. plz help if youre smarter than me :)

Hopefully they flesh out the 'Metal Gear' part of the story. We know the Old Snake vs Liquid/Ocelot but whats the meat behind it this time...whats Metal Gear?

I remember the feeling of awe when I first saw MG: Ray on that VHS Japanese Trailer so many years ago I'm almost eager to see what Kojimas sick and pretty mind can come up with.
