You've probably got a cajillion offers for prices, but I'll give my input. I paid just under $110 for my copy off ebay. It wasn't factory sealed and the game had been played a few times but it had its original case, it had the instruction manuel, and there were no scratches on the CD. So I'd say you'd have a pretty good chance of getting a higher value for a factory-sealed, never been played version. All I'd recommend is that if you put it up for auction on ebay to not have it start at a high price or it'll turn off a lot of buyers. I'd seen factory sealed copy auctions just sit on the site because they had a buy-it-now (only) of $499. But meh, it's your game. Japan already has a PSP remake combination of Suiko 1 and 2 in the same packaging (check play-asia for details). So it's just a matter of Konami getting enough requests from fans overseas. I still have all of these games in mint condition + soundtracks (huge fan of the series). Hopefully they'll bring this stateside on PSP as the bundle is in Japan. But knowing how the industry here works I'll bet money we have to buy part 1 and 2 separately.

Gotta say that III was the worse one I thought they killed the story a little, but who couldn't tell who the masked man was, so obvious. IV brought it back to the original style of suikoden, haven't beaten V yet.

I would abhor it if Sony went to a retarded point system. Despite what Sony PR has claimed, the pricing isn't the thing that is keeping content region locked. Its easy to convert currency.

Square Enix not only recognizes and acknowledges that digital copies have no monetary value, but also believe that they lose some of their original mystique and exclusiveness once the customer realizes that fact, and don't wish to risk devaluing there classic intellectual property in light of the fact that the fan popularity of there new releases has been in a decline since they merged and became Square Enix.

If that is the case; then I think that they fail to realize that we would actually be very satisfied with digital versions and re-releases would only make us more enthusiastic about new RPGs from them.(just so long as they can make good ones again)

I could be wrong though.

Suikoden 4 was terrible, but as a huge fan of 1&2, I must insist that despite a sometime annoying gameplay and long load times, the story in Suikoden 5 is fantastic.

As a matter of fact, I was just about to load it into my PS2.
