I am not one to complain about graphics, but this looks plain awful, even by Wii standards. RE4 looked okay, LoZ:TP looked okay. It's been nearly two years, c'mon devs, step it up.

@Zim: I'm with you, Scorpion King was good. I also hated The Rock as a wrestler and have never been disappointed with his acting work.

So they waited until no one really cared about the franchise anymore to release a game? Smart, but hey, maybe the game can stand on its own.

Just fyi, the next Scorpian King movie (Rise of the Akkadian) is currently in the works and will be a straight to DVD release. The reason this is important is that it will be starring Randy Couture. I don't know if I should be exited or afraid.

The screens don't look so hot.

First I thought it was a little weird to have no 360 or ps3 version but maybe it makes sense. Looking at the American sales of another movie game transformers (unfortunately europe is missing for wii and ps3 in vgchartz)
It was PS2-610k, wii - 200k, 360 - 370k, ps3- 170k.

Considering how much higher development costs for the PS3 and 360 version would have been they must have made a far bigger profit from the wii/ps2 game. With movie games aimed at a younger audience I would guess the sales difference would be even more in favour of wii/ps2.

Having said that I actually really like The mummy series. I don't think they are amazing and revolutionary or anything, I just think they are damn near the perfect fun action movies. I actually really liked the Scorpion king as well.

There are 2 main reasons for that though
1) I just think the Rock is a cool guy. All the roles i've seen him in I thought he was great (which is kinda funny because as a kid watching wrestling I mostly hated him)
2) The girl was insanely attractive.
Still it was kinda like having a modern Conan movie. It was just good fun. So im looking forward to the new mummy.
