Until then, the massive hardware cost just isn't worth it for the number of songs available, especially when it's the price of a whole game more expensive than Guitar Hero to just get the game and the guitar.

But Patton did it when I saw Faith No More, Soundgarden and Voivod play a gig at UW-Eau Claire in 1989 or so.

Patton dove into the crowd, I yanked his shoe off and threw it back on stage. If there had been ebay back then I'd have kept it.
