Lol, I don't think one reviewer has realized you can adjust the sensitivity of the gun in-game by pressing the + or - keys (its in the instructions.) I had to code that one in because the original code had no calibrate gun option o.o

Part of the problem with this port was that we were dealing with HUGE custom movie files, and the only way to fit this onto 64mb was using the Bink video system. But Bink has its flaws with laggy startup/stop times, alignment issues (undocumented :( ), and the fact that we literally had to go from a 512mb overhead to 64mb.

Oh you can also see my credits under Software Programmer in the instructions, or during the credit roll for Leviathan Games :D

CthulhuLA

We couldn't even get kids passing by to take the controllers off our hands to let us leave so we had to beat the whole game... IT WAS AWFUL

OoBaSNoRk

Although, in this case, the book and it's cover were pretty in sync. But it could suffice for some dumb fun when other games were tied up in an arcade that gave 5 tokens or more on the dollar, and it took 1, and the pinball game only had one working flipper...

Zazu_Yen

@Leobebes: You summed up my feelings on the wiinerds quite accurately.

Not saying I don't want a wii, mind... I want it for the good games (Mario Galaxy, Brawl, SPM, Twilight Princess) but it doesn't beat a real current gen system. The wii is, by and large, exceptions notwithstanding, a system for non-gamers... Wii Sports has inspired a new generation of shovelware that is unmatched even by the PS1... Only the Atari beat the wii in shovelware...

bobtheduck

@Zazu_Yen: My favorite scene has to be in Crime Patrol, when you're fighting terrorists on an airplane. They calmly, one-by-one turn around to shoot you, and none of the other passengers really seem to care. Then one lady randomly pops out, screams, then takes her seat. Then another lady pops out, says "Save us." in the most bored tone you could imaging, then goes back offscreen.

After that, you reach the front of the plane, where the stewardess instructs you to take your seat, then you open the cockpit, shoot the terrorist in the pilot's seat, and the co-pilot thanks you by saying "That oughtta earn you some frequent flyer miles!"

@GordieHoweHatTrick: That's from Crime Patrol 2: Drug Wars, and I feel pathetic for knowing that off the top of my head

Jeff Paine

Wow. A laggy lightgun shooter.
So in other words, don't buy it because it doesn't work, period? That's sad.

Maybe we'll get Point Blank later, it was good on DS. Or Mad Dog McCree, I actually spent some time on that one in arcades.

fuchikoma

"Light gun games on the Wii, though, are a match made in heaven, or at least they could be if someone ever finds the right match. Could Target: Terror be it?"

No.

Ghost Squad and House of the Dead 2&3 were really good, so I think I'll stick with them.

Pezdispenser
