There isn't much reason to own more than 1 Xbox 360 in Japan. According to CheapyD on the cheapassgamer.com podcast, it only takes about a week to get a RROD repaired in Tokyo. He had 2 360s fixed and, if I remember correctly, they even sent a messenger to his house to pick the consoles up.

You know, it seems to me like Japan has a lot more stuff on Inside Xbox than North Americans do. I think that's interesting, despite the fact that the 360 isn't as popular over there.
