The Mario Kart 64 music (4:14 for example) is distracting... the video makers clearly thought it belonged with the BioWare game footage! I think it was probably left playing on an office Wii while the game had the audio turned down, confusing the production people.

During my years in coillege, I had to take French. Never did I know I would be glad of of having learned at least a bit of French.

I mean I could actually understand most if it. Of course, the pictures and videos helped too. And, there won't be a test on this...

Anyway, the game certainly does look nice...

Wow was this uploaded from a Sega CD rom? Sheesh, I know you tube sucks for PQ but ..man!

All I can say is that the best part from that clip(game) was the intro logo with the cool Sonic animation. Reminded me of Sonic Cd a lot. They should just port that to the DS. Or just the whole Sonic series from 1 to CD and knuckles. I'm sure it could all fit.

I always find it weird when I see videos about games in french on the web. This one was useless since it was more to inform regular news viewers about the process of game making. At least here they see game as a good industry and they actually try to bring devs in Canada instead of playing the "games are evil" card. I'm surprised my parents didn't see this on TV and then tell me about it like if I didn't know about bioware or sonic RPG.

I watched the video at about 8:40 pm California-time. Hopefully those of you who couldn't see it will try again.

That was a very, very cute man with an incredibly delicious accent telling me about the game (even though I couldn't understand it). :D

I haven't been paying attention to this game until now, but it looks like you may get to use the stylus to choose your options (attack, etc.). That sounds kind of cool, if that's the case. I'll have to look into this game a little more.

Video starts with the guy talking about how long it takes to make a video game and how many people. he says 1 year and about 30 developers. Then they have a fake meeting about what kind of character sonic is. Then he says there are 4 steps to making a game and he explains them. 1) planning, 2)pre-production, 3)production, 4)finalizing.

After gameplay footage they talk about what gropus of people are used to make a game, programmers, artists blah blah blah.

Next he's just walking us through the steps to create a character in game. Goes on to say that games a mathematical systems and that programmers are essential.

Next he says the most important thing to do is to make the game players happy, or to entertain them.

It ends with him talking about how Bioware is so awesome and why it's so awesome and why he personally likes video games.

This game looks awesome, but the music that I heard sounds.... sonic-y. Could they not get Hideki Naganuma to do the track for this one, like Sonic Rush? Or at least copy his style like in Sonic Rush Adventure? The EBA gameplay would be awesome with good music.

@Spampy: I like most dev diaries. The only kinds I don't enjoy are the one's that seem overly scripted. Case in point: Silicon Knight's first VD was pretty painful (it was full of puss and inflamed.. j/k ^_^; ) to watch and seemed like a scripted mess but the subsequent ones go t better. It's fun to get that perspective.
