Activision seems bound and determined to undermine Rock Band in any way possible. I see them nabbing one or two more acts before EA says "hey, you're playing OUR game...we'll just see about that!" and suddenly you'll see bands you WANT to play in the game you don't. After Rock Band, I seriously don't see myself back at GH no matter who they wrangle up exclusively.

I don't see why they can't co-exist. They're similar yet completely different.

Guitar Hero 3 was the worst of the Guitar Heroes. Hell, even Rocks the 80's was better than this. I'm discouraged. I would like to sing some Aerosmith. I know Activision has hinted at vocals, but I'll believe it when I see it. This doesn't serve a customer as long as the two products are so different. If Activision steps up with a Rock Band style experience, I wouldn't mind as much. But so long as the games offer different play styles, exclusives will fundamentally deprive the consumer and that's not cool.
