It actually cemented for me, really, that the only work of Kyoani's that I should ever actually care about is Haruhi--and even that is almost entirely by virtue of the strength of its source material.

The ending song too. Am I supposed to find 'dangos' cute? What? Why? Babies and grandpas? How does that convey any meaning whatsoever? I do like the way the music goes once the orchestra joins in, but really, this anime is just insufferable the way its trying so hard to be cute.

If anyone wants to play, there are patches for Fire Red and Leaf Green Japanese versions, search for "moemon" and... can't help you there. Pick a patch and hope it's the right one! I don't even remember where the site is anymore but it has various mutations like an "always facing the camera in battle" patch so it may be tricky finding the right one.

My two-year-old nephew absolutely LOVES it, probably because it sounds like a very well composed children's song. The anime/visual novel is very sweet, as well. It is so touching in a warm family love sort of way. I can't wait to see the After Story adaptation.

My favorite part of the video is when they have Eevee in the moon. Eevee has a special place in my heart, and I have an entire team of pokemon that are just Eevee evolutions whenever humanly possible. She is by far my favorite pokemon.
