I am in need of 10 different pokemon figures. I am missing Pupitar, Pineco, Snover, Azelf, Golem, Ralts, Claydol, Aron, Zapdos, and Budew. I was thinking about buying a collection from this LDU Company in China but I really don't need 288 pokemon figures, and that is the smallest collection that I see them listing on their website www.LDUcompany.com

I am trying to find a place to buy just the ten that I need. Has anyone ever bought pokemon characters from this LDU website? Oh yeah, here is a link to the page with all the pokemons [www.liangdianup.com]

@Dr Terror: Fair enough, I didn't realize that GH3 was in fact done out of house, because, unlike the half-assed Rock Band port, it isn't coated in contempt for Wii owners. They did online play, they did solo and co-op campaigns, they did the in-game unlockable shop, they did online leaderboards. Basically, it didn't feel wildly lacking. Whereas PS2 Rock Band feels like a step backwards, featurewise, compared to even GH1.

@static: The 360 Hard Drive isn't standard either. The 360 Arcade doesn't come with one, and in fact the Wii's built-in 512MB is more than the Arcade comes with.

I think it's funny when people get pissed and say Harmonix should have used the SD Slot for DLC.

The SD slot is for photo's and such, it is not a standardized storage device like a 360 or PS3 Hard drive. Users are expected to go and purchase an SD card if they want the added functionality, it is not a requirement.

What most people are mistaken about is that it is Harmonix fault that this is happening. Nintendo is at fault for not creating a solid enough distribution and storage system for their customers.

Are you people really surprised?
The Wii is a budget system and Nintendo want's to pay the least, so what do you expect?

You get what you pay for, Harmonix are being the good guys by tossing you a few songs,the PS2 users don't even get that luxury.

This is the age of Digital Distribution, the Wii should have been able to do this stuff right out of the box.

It's easy to tell that these new songs would not of been exclusives. It's much easier to pick from a list of DLC songs (since they are already complete) and put them in. I just wish Harmonix wouldn't say that they will do DLC down the road. THERE IS NO POSSIBILITY FOR THEM TO DO THAT. thats where the inevitable Rock Band 2 will come in.

Actually Luke, Harmonix will continue to be the stinkers here. There is an SD card slot right there that they've completely neglected to use. And that still doesn't explain the lack of online play.

This is as bad as their 'damage control' for the price. Harmonix have seriously dropped the ball on this one to do a shoddy quick and easy PS2 port.

Hmm, I'm surprised Still Alive isn't in there. I guess Nintendo wouldn't have liked it, their console really isn't powerful enuogh to handle Portal... (I assume... I would've thought they could port it, but if they could they would I would think.)

Also, as for not having a hard drive... Surely if the internal and SD storage can hold full older games, it can hold a few songs? Hell, for a $10 increase in price they could include a 1gb SD card. Surely a gig is enough for a few songs? What about 2? 4? 8? I sell 8gb SD cards at work. Comeon, the 360 only has ~17 gigs of useable storage.

Personally I think it's just too hard to implement anything online with the Wii, and they don't want to ruin their relationship with Nintendo by (accurately) blaming it on them.

It's your product Harmonix\EA, and you may do as you wish. But we know you're constantly full of crap.

@Dr Terror: I see what you are saying, but the guitar mechanics for the Wii version of GH3, while in no way a real leap forward, has some neat things about it that proved the developer didn't just port over the hardware wholesale. I've played against people online with GH3 and although not really that great, I can do it. GH3 has leaderboards and although I could give a flying monkey crap about that, I do because it shows the developer didn't want to skimp me on content that has no technical limitations from performing. Like freaking Rock Band. No excuses. Hormonix is the name that I shall give them, and their name shall be Hormonix. Amen.

@Illusion: Just a correction- If your referring to GH3 Wii, then it was in fact a port of a out-of-house, half-assed PS2 version of the game. It was made by Vicarious Visions (or that Cat developer, not 100% on that) and compared to the current gen consoles, it looked & sounded like ass (played like GH tho). I only own the Wii. Since i read it was going to be out for it (even if late) i started saving to buy it as the prices here in Mexico most of the time are double than USA. But as much as i want it , fuck Harmonix, they could have done a better job (developing a Wii version instead of porting). I'm so pissed off, you have no idea how much, even my stomach hurts. But what can i do? just not buying that shitty game and letting know all the people who have Wiis to think twice on that version. What a lazy developer.

The problem isn't that it's already available DLC. The problem is that it's only 5 songs. C'mon. 360 and PS3 get a nearly limitless potential for music and the Wii gets...5 extra songs on the disc. That's pretty weak.

But, being an owner of the 360 version already, this doesn't really matter to me.

But as is I for one am out and I have been looking forward to buying this game for months. And none of this accounts for the nerfed world tour or lack of online options. That is all Harmonix failure as a developer, not Nintendo. It sucks there is no HD but it also sucks there is no motion controls for the 360 (yet),and there is no rumble for ps3 until recently. Each console has it's disadvantages and it is telling that the DLC is not the only thing missing from this version. It is the developers responsibility to work around hardware limitations. Harmonix failed.

Don't Look Back In Anger is my 2nd fave DLC song (El Scorcho is #1). Lots of fun to play. In fact, I own all of these songs (I'm at about 28-30 bought to date) and they're all pretty good. Not the revelation we expected, especially in light of DLC not being forthcoming on Wii, but it's not the worst thing that could happen.

Frankly, I think they should pack the Wii game disc to the gills with songs to make up for the DLC disadvantage they will be under - they'll need all the extra songs they can get to sell units.

No, blaming Harmonix or Nintendo is a load of crap. We knew the limitations of the Nintendo Wii when we bought it. And yet we did any way. If you wanted a system rich with DLC, you should have bought a 360 or a Ps3.

The Wii is fine. Nothing needs to be changed. It was never meant to compete in this field with the heavy hitters like Microsoft(lolsoft imo) and Sony. Get over it!

Why doesn't Hormonix just release a few compilation disks for a comparable price and call it good. You might buy songs you don't want but waaaaaa, I would buy it anyway and so would you. Problem solved somewhat, a lot better that the way it is. And there is no excuse for making Wii owner have no internet features and the lame world tour mode of the ps2. Another sloppy port for the Wii. Sorry, this is far more Harmonix than Nintendo. At least EA did something new for Guitar Hero III. And yes, it sucked not having my game for a month while I waited for stereo sound. But at least they did something new for us, the best selling of the current generation hardware. Unlike you know who, who obviously doesn't give a crap about Wii owners. The price shows it, the PS2 feature set shows it, and the bonus songs show it most of all. I wanted so badly to believe it wasn't a PS2 port but it is, and the DLC is only one small part of that. Harmonix really let me and a lot of other people down. Screw you Harmonix, screw you! You are not on my side.

With the DRM coming into play, it becomes a large hassle for people to delete files and change SD cards.

Seems a lot of developers when queried about the SD card remain baffled by it. Only Nintendo seems able to do it.

Rememeber third party comments about Miis that they couldn't create them in the games? Turns out they could. The developers are morons. They could very well have a character creator.

There is already a dlc system Final Fantasy My Life as a King uses DLC content and it's already released in Japan. Pray tell me how a small team working on a small release gets dlc right when a big bad company cannot?

Other wiiware games use dlc and they have been working on these games longer then harmonix has been on Rock Band wii.

Nintendo could release their next console w/o video out ports and fans would fault television makers for not finding a workaround. Wii may have few bells and whistles, but Nintendo put just enough tech in to turn a profit.

Harmonix doesn't care they just want money. A lot of people have been informed about this inferior version but they don't give a damn. They don't own the other consoles nor ever will.

Yes we can blame harmonix they could very well use the SD card and encrypt the purchases to the wii that bought them.

They did this already with the broken strum bar fiasco. They had a good hit with Guitar Hero, but they are losing the plot as far as I am concerned.
