I dont understand how it will work. will there actually be a pole? I do advanced pole dancing and it involves alot of climbing and spins going upside down etc. I know that them peekaboo poles they sell in the shops are the novelty ones that you can't literally do anything on them, apart from gyrate and rub yourself on it,lol. Got a feeling that will be the aim of the game, hmmm....making pole dancing live up to its seedy stereotype.be interested to see what its like

Why's everybody so down on the guy being there?

Oh.... OH. You think this is a SERIOUS STRIPPING SIMULATOR.

As opposed to, y'know... something to do for fun, excercise, and to make an idiot of yourself in front of your friends.

Like Singstar, or Wii Sports, or any of these other popular party games.

This game is a fantastic idea, and I really hope it gets through. If games like Grand Theft Auto 4 and Bioshock can't convince the mainstream market that not all video games are meant for a 5-9 audience, perhaps this will.

But I doubt it. Countdown to "media outrage" in 3-2-1...

I think this would better suited as a Nintendo franchise game like Brawl, you could have players mimicking the pole dancing actions for characters such as Samus, Princess Peach & Zelda, Dixie kong, Kirby, a couple of pokemon. Chuck in a couple of Sega characters for good measure.

Would be great for kids......

Okay, let's say we take this concept seriously... 1. How will they measure the movements? - Because even if they do pack-in a pole, it makes little sense to just put the Wiimote into the pole since the only movements that it can then measure are the vibrations of the pole every time you go around it. (Somehow that sentence just sounds so awkward.) Not so much of a game mechanic. So the Wiimote in the pole won't work. 2. The WiiFit board can't be used too because it will be too small to put a pole on top of it and go around the thing while still stepping on the board. 3. The way I see it, the only time that this concept will work is if a. you provide a pole pack-in that's sturdy enough to stand on its own while supporting the player's movements b. instead of putting the wiimote into the pole, provide a "belt". This way the wiimote goes into the belt and it will be situated on the player's hip so that the movements can then be measured properly.
