@All the haters: All I know is I've never been a playstation fan. But looking across the way from my xbox, I saw the playstation 2 and the success it was having. Let's hope this is only a two day thing and Atlus doesn't do what SNK usually does with 2D fighter releases in the US. How many times did KOF XI and NGBC get delayed?

@Polywhirl: from what I've read, the first one came out around 10 years ago on the sega saturn. then it was ported to the ps a few years later, but there hasn't been another port until the recent ones on the ps2 and the wii

And I can't wait for this. Moreso because it's all girls and anime style 2d...I collect fighting games, and it's weird because I don't own a single Tekken...more of a 2d girl than 3d.

I agree with flashtut. The PS2 is the single best selling console "of all timez" and supporting a more than 120 Million installed user base is just common business since.

And with games like Arcana Heart and SNK classics still coming for the PS2 ill end up having to get a second Slim model once the price drops just to keep gaming on the good ol PS2 for years to come.
