If they pull off the user community (in-game and on-line) and offer interoperability between the PSP content and the PS3 content then they can have something so amazing that it may just steal what ever thunder PS HOME may have. As other projects Sony is doing, this seems very ambitious and their massive potential for success is almost balanced with the massive danger of failure. For what it's worth (from a hater) I really do which them luck and success because the whole industry will benefit. But they need to take more baby steps in my opinion.

Media Molecule have an upper limit on the people they want working for their company. The PS3 game is being made by Media Molecule in Guildford but produced out of External Development in Sony Liverpool.

I guess the internal Wipeout Pure team in Liverpool have been moved to LBP PSP. Both titles fit under the same management structure.

The core game seems simple enough that you could do it on the PSP. I could easily see a 2D stagebuilder a la Mega Man Powered Up being done portably on the PSP, only to transfer the stage to the PS3 later on to flesh it out or just play it with better graphics.

Now I'm reminded of how much it sucks that there's no Mega Man Powered Up 2. Gimmeee!
