I'm sure I'm just going to sound like a broken record here, but rumor has it the PS3 version is going to be buggy as all hell. If you have both consoles you should probably go with the 360 version. Has something to do with designing both versions as one before formatting them for each console.

I have been waiting for something like this way before GTA 3 was ever released. They were originally planning to add multiplayer in GTA 3, but for some reason canned it. The only glimpse of multiplayer was that "multi theft auto" pc mod that allowed you to play GTA 3, VC, & SA multiplayer on the pc version. Was kinda cool, but there were no pedestrians or traffic while you played. Pretty much deathmatch in a ghost town. The psp versions are pretty fun to do deathmatch with, but since most of the weapons use auto-aim, it ended up being kinda easy to kill or be killed. I still don't get why the psp versions of GTA were the only ones to have deathmatch. I am just glad that it is finally becoming a standard with GTA 4. The gameplay possibilities are going to be endless!

One think I would like them to really start covering is the community features and web-portals (if any) they have planned for this. Any user-generated content and just how much of a persistent sand box if at all it. So many question. As is, at face value... it over delivered but it makes you think just how much more they can make of it. It truly a testament of design when some thing's creativity can make you think creatively.

Has Crecente mentioned in any of his hands-on sessions how often the game slows down or gets choppy? I'm 100% a fan of the series and not here to bash at all but one still has to wonder why in so many of the Rockstar released videos we see that happen.

I really hope they bring back the dual analog helicopter controls from Vice City. I didn't care for the SA button-based scheme, even if you could rotate the camera.

Anyone know if you can do 4 player multi on a LAN? I'm thinking more and more that this game deserves a multiplayer party at my place for launch... but as my skate. launch party showed, not having a LAN option means the party consists of a bunch of people sitting around watching TV while the host swears and throws controllers at the wall because the XboxLive servers are completely borked.

Multiplayer was never what sold me on the GTA series, but it's good to hear a strong offering from Rock Star, and co-op perks my interest, the idea of me and a few friends could drop in and blaze away, though the absence of a co-op campaign is a little jarring.

I simply cannot wait for this game. If it was even as good as San Andreas, I'd be thrilled. But this is going to be so much much much better.

@lucky_7s: I think both consoles will have the same multiplayer modes, but I'm going 360 with this because Live is much better online than what the PS3 offers and Live will have exclusive episodic downloadable content.
