I think this thing is great. Sure, it looks kinda wonky but I bet it makes playing the PSP 10x more comfortable.

I'm a depressed gamer who likes to sit and play RPGs alone in the dark, so you know I spend great stretches of time in front of my PSP.

A proper grip (that does't include speakers and requie extra batteries) is a godsend.

If the price is right, I'll buy it!

Grimspoon

When I was over at my friends apt recently playin MHP2G I noticed that he had one of these- he said it was ok, but it was better for games like wipEout, or games less finger-intensive than MHP.

My right-hand pinky always gets tired from playing PSP as it is used under the PSP to provide stability, and my left hand sometimes cramps as I'm using "The Claw" way to play the PSP (works also with dualshock/xb360 controllers). It's when your thumbs control analog sticks, the index finger manages the d-pad or face buttons, and the middle and ring finger handle shoulder buttons. Luckily, most games don't require this much interaction, but some out there (mostly mecha games) make it almost a necessity. Anyone else play like this?

denki

I have same problem. PSP is my favorite system, since I bought it few years ago I rarely play anything else, but my left hand hurts when I play more than 2hours without break. I think that Monster Thing can be good, though I wouldn't take it on public.

D-Pad is very low on PSP, and I have same problem with Dualshock on PS2. Thats why I prefer x360 gamepad when analog stick is switched with D-pad.

flappy
