Dude there are ways of getting the PS3 Rock Band DLC in Australia. Entropay Virtual Visa card + US PSN account = the goods.

I've got the 360 version and have bought all of the DLC off the US Marketplace using points cards purchased from the States.

I'm a little more worried about the guitar, which seems to have an unreliable strum bar, at best. Sigh. Besides, the UK version is going to be released with extra songs, including hysteria by muse. I think I'm going to have to buy another copy when it comes out over here finally.

Dunno, I used a 10% off coupon a couple months ago which brought it down like $20 and that was enough for me.

But all the little fees, I've spent about roughly $30 in DLC alone ($40 if I buy the Boston pack) not to mention I had also bought GH2 for like $100 which gave me the second guitar.

So you're looking at about $250 if you want four instruments and add more if you want more songs. To be fair though, it's totally awesome to have Rock Band parties (though by about the 4th or 5th one the song selection wears a bit thin)

Since I can't even play it at my studio apartment on account of the noise, and since all the DLC I'm going to need total about $50, I'm going to need a little more incentive than that. Anyways, I've played my brother's Rock Band enough times that I can stave off the hunger a bit longer.

]]> <![CDATA[]]> Having spent time on both the EA and the Rock Band forums the one thing that has struck me is the sheer lack of information distributed by EA/Harmonix for a game that has already been released. At this point gamers in the EU/OZ would be happy with a reason for the wait let alone a release date. I just wonder what is to be gained by keeping potential customers, already frustrated by the total lack of information, in the dark this way.

Have any of you ever known a staggered release with as much secrecy as this before?
