Not as good as the 2D Sonic games, but great reviews nevertheless. Even the gamecube version of Adventure 2 got reviews above 80%, despite its obvious flaws.

Heroes was, while slightly better than more recent Sonic games, crap. Nobody disputes that.

@Ruglia: They are NEVER interesting? Thats hardly a fair claim, especially when considering the other character in this discussion by very definition has no soul. But yeah, as I've said, Sonic has had some BAD writing and it has only gotten worse, but he had sort of a short-lived golden age in his comic series (Sonic the Hedgehog, not the Sonic X stuff) and I'm confident Bioware will turn a few heads.

Plus, Sonic was voiced by freaking Urkel in that old, horrible cartoon. If there was a presidential candidate voiced by Urkel, he would immediately get my vote.

Adventure 2 was such an awesome game, until you got to the damn treasure hunting stages, where the whole game just grinded to a halt and tortured you for hours and hours until you could get to the fun parts again. I actually wanted to know what was up with Shadow, but the treasure stages were so utterly and completely crappy that I just couldn't finish the game.

Also, I hope this is real, although the video has some jerky camera movement.

Although I've owned more Nintendo consoles than Sega, I always liked the Sonic Gameplay more than the Mario one. Hopefully this would be a good one...
