]]> <![CDATA[Street Fighter Movie Finds Its M. Bison]]> @OstegoAmigo1: Dragonball is actually shaping up to be, from all that's been released to the public, surprisingly good.

It's being directed by a decent director, production is being overseen by the guy who directed Shaolin Soccer and Kung-Fu Hustle, and it's being based on the earlier arcs of the manga which are more about adventure and comedy, and have more down-to-earth fighting. The stunt team coordinator is the same that worked on 300 and The Matrix, and the special effects are done by the same people that worked on 300, Sin City, and Sky Captain and the World of Tommorow, to name a few.

To top it all off, they've got a decent cast, and even managed to get ahold of Chow Yun Fat, which is pretty crazy.

Really, Ryu as a central story isn't all that exciting unless you concentrate on the Ryu/Ken aspect. Other than that he is just walking the earth which isn't the best story. I think the mix of the two worked well in the anime.

Exactly that's the main story for the Street Fighter series, however he isn't the "Hero" of SFII. It was always unclear who was, for certain Ryu never made it into the finals thanks to Ken.

Guile is a very good conteder for the "Hero" after all he wants revenge for Nash's death. Though we all know how Bison ended at the hands of Gouki.
