@Witzbold: Yea it is true, we have electric outlets like Costco/Sams/BJ.

But its funny, I don't think I have seen any Nvidia/ATI cards.

Then again, the AS is not matched anywhere in the world guranteed. I mean, we practically give away pcs and laptops if you join such and such stores/clubs/ or even shop frequently at a specfic store

off tangent-Also the only country with the best AS does not accept tips in any form. I had a grandma chase after me just for 2000 won tip thinking I accidently left it on the table. I used to valet park through college and can't even imagine getting no tips; such service will allow me to take your car for a joyride; al la your S430's and m5's.

As much as I'm drooling for the game, I hope they lay off the melodramatic voiceover trailers. They seem resolved to do it repeatedly for WoW, making one every time there's a new dungeon released, let alone expansion announced, but here's to hoping they stick to a different cinematic style in the StarCraft universe - so many of the best cutscenes from the original are so completely non-epic and gritty.

This just makes the think that the one thing Starcraft 2 needs is formations. It looks like the units still want to charge the enemy in a single line or in an overly spaced out herd. With the line especially, any decent defense will just kill them off one at a time, reducing your army into target practice.

I remember one of my dad's friends brought me a burned copy of Starcraft (we're Chinese, dammit!) like... a decade ago. That was the game that got me started. I freakin' loved it. I moved on to Diablo and Diablo II from there but I would revisit Starcraft every once in a while all through elementary and high school.

My friends and I still talk about that one game where my Korean friend was too arrogant after taking out my ally's (it was 2v2, all friends) base and neglected on finishing off his pylons. Instead, they gunned for my base straight away. Meanwhile, my ally had 4-5 Carriers stashed away at a corner of the map and with the help of my Cruisers, we managed a complete and hilarious comeback. Much laughter and taunting ensued.

There was also a time when these custom map "bound" (IIRC) games were popular. They were kind of like obstacle courses that you would navigate with a zergling. One of the players I met online claimed to be a girl (and I believed "her" too... now I wonder. What was I thinking back then?!) and we were making all kinds of sexual jokes about getting on top of one another while burrowing and un-burrowing (to get past walls in said "bound" games. You know what I mean if you've played these before). I was around 8-9 years old at the time... So much for those ESRB ratings.

Oh, and there was also this one time in grade 5 or 6 where this science guy came in and did some fun hands on experiments with us. We were mixing some stuff together to form a jelly-ish material. My friends and I were talking about games and I suddenly felt the need to express my love for the most awesome company ever. "Blizzard kicks ass!" I exclaimed. Then I got kicked out of class... I remember hiding in the toilet for the rest of the period cause I didn't want the principal or the other teachers to see me standing out in the hallway.

Good times, good times! So many memories! Thank you Blizzard. Thank you Starcraft! :D

@Pornosaur: If I had to make an educated guess about the release of this game, I'd say summer of 2009. Normally for Blizzard I'd actually say 2010, but they have changed their whole strategy since the old Diablo 2 days. Their policy now seems to be to reveal as little as possible before suddenly making a call for beta and announcing a release date not-too-long before the actual shipping day.

Best case scenario - this fall. But that would require a touch of miracle.

Starcraft Ghost: Nova is the back story of nova from the console game they were going to release. then there is a three book series of the starcraft world. what WAS the big deal with this game and Koreans???

personally i prefer C&C Generals and C&C 3 for RTS but this new game looks pretty damm good...
