Something a simple folder won't give you. :) Not the solution for everyone, but a very useful one for me.

Oh I see, the site does say that. But I guess I just didn't quite understand the true value of Devonthink. Because at first I thought if I just wanted to make archieve of my docs, why not just putting them all in one folder and organize them. But I guess now I kind of understand it.

You're right Bamboo is the best solution for you. I forgot that cintiq isn't portable at all. Very hassle to set up. Maybe the next generation is more streamlined :)

That being said, Wacom tablets are sexy as hell. I'm very content with mine.

It's really helped me; but I think the useful AI features only kick in once you've got quite the library amassed & have the right sorts of categories. Actually, just being able to convert all my PDFs to searchable text with the OCR & instantly dig up what I'm looking for was worth the purchase price. I heart DEVONthink.

I do indeed have a Bamboo. No reason to get one of 'serious' tablets, since I'm literally just taking notes with the thing!

I use it to draw whenever I'm in the artsy mood. Seriously miss taking hardcore illustration classes though. Who would have thoguht I'd go 180?

Organizing and cleaning are two of my favorite activities to do, and I have a feeling that putting this gundam model together will be fun also, just because it keeps me concentrated on one task~ nice and simple things to relax.

Also, intuos is great, but if you just use it for taking notes, you might just get bamboo instead (it sounds that you indeed got bamboo instead because of the word 'cute"). But if this tablet thing plays a major part in your effort of streamlining stuff, get cintiq.

It's difficult for me to go back to intuos now.
