"As has been announced previously, MGS4 will include a Metal Gear Online "Starter Pack." If you can't wait to try out MGS4, the good news is you don't have to much longer. Those who pre-order the game will be guaranteed access to a multiplayer beta test for Metal Gear Online scheduled for late April."

It's about time Sony got their priorities straight. It took them long enough to if you ask me. 2 years after the initial release of the console and we're finally getting a release date for MGS4 (Which was promised by Kojima by no later than sometime 2007), and the Dualshock 3 controller which should have been released just months after launch in my opinion. Personally I dig the whole motion sensor technology and innovation, but when you're playing a FPS, I'm sure at least 1 person will agree with me, you just have to rely on that vibration for mere survival. Anyway, right on Sony, lets hope this fall you kick some ass right alongside of the 360.
