Do I even have to explain the durability of the said luxury merchandise?. There is a reason that hard working people enjoy the fine products that are presented.

Representation of rich culture?, hardly. Yes, some people that are financially well off will buy on impulse due to the stressed idea of being "trendy" whilst staying "unique" with items that can be sought with a high price.

But most people ACTUALLY pay a price:quality.

Take it from two generations of Park that came from absolute gutter and made ourselves a name here. I am the type of guy who is so frugal, I'd rather skip a meal rather then paying a 1.75 dollar surcharge to pull emergency cash. I dropped a grand for a P bag as a gift to my parents without even thinking twice, that was 8 years ago and there isn't even a hint of wear and tear.

Yes there are premium price added to said luxury items, as with Sony, Apple, and so on. But its not as if the price is inflated 200%,i.e. PS3 off really costing only 200 dollars but released it 400 dollars for shits and giggles.

Once again, the topic is way off tangent, but such generalization ideas with limited scope on overall perspective of the general population is not only dangerous, but can only hinder the outlook of the next listener. Perhaps this comment is shortsighted in itself, but it needs to be said. This goes for the recent racial splurts as well; definitely raised my eyebrow on Asia this, Western that, don't call someone this, I'm speaking on someone's behalf, and other minuscule nonsense.

I think what he is saying is, despite the fact that almost all gucci handbags and stuff look absolutely terrible and tacky, people still buy it simply because it is some sort of representation of rich culture.

Hey, I will give whoever made this all the props in the world.....it is a perfect recreation of Punch-Out graphics....and someone obviously put a lot of time and effort into making it.

I just don't think that its an attractive scarf.

Why would I want a scarf with the mug of a convicted felon on it? Someone who has been quoted as saying that he wants to 'eat' someone elses' children.

I'll tell you what though, I would drop a serious wad of cash on a scarf featuring Little Mac and his trainer in front of a New York City skyline.

If you're going to spend a lot of money on a scarf, at least get something that is attractive. Something that is stylish.
