Tallerico should soooooo have been one of the Joker cards. I mean, c'mon. And is Bushnell even in there?

Miyamoto should most certainly have been one of the Aces, if not the Ace of Spades.

Oh... and a game's success does not = good game.

I mean, look at Tomb Raider 1-5... ass-tacular! That series has always been horrible. And only in the last 2 games has it become a game that is even the least bit fun to play.

But apparently, it's been one of the best games ever... because it's spawned so many sequels, right?... sequels that were made because it sold well because there was a chick with giant tits on it. Oh and she totally did all your aiming for you... you just had to press the button when you see her arms pointing at the enemy (often times an enemy that is off-screen).... brilliant!

@xot: Well, I guess it's just my personal opinion that nothing, but Populous, was "ground-breaking".

My problem isn't that his games are horrible. They're just always over-hyped and they always under-deliver. Not only that, but you have to wait 6-7 years for his game to come out... then it turns out to be worse that whatever's currently on the market.

And Fable was not good. I don't care what people say. The hype was not the only thing that ruined that game. Terrible characters, terrible story, load times, lack of real interaction with anything in the world, lack of decisions making any difference at all, lack of a decent battle system... these are the things that made Fable 2 horrible. Just because Molyneux tricked enough people into buying Fable 1 to warrant Fable 2 doesn't mean it was good.

And Black & White was boring as hell. It was for the first few hours when you're trying to figure out the random things you can do.... but then you realize there's actually very little you can do and you stop playing.

And the Movies?!?! What could have been a great game turned out to be one of the most generic experiences ever. This is another game that had a lot of hype over what you could do... but in the end, you couldn't do much at all.

I think you need to hop off the hype machine and realize that most developers that have to convince their customers to buy the game before any gameplay or anything is seen... are most-likely hiding something.

@RemyDuvalle: Gimme a break, dude. The guy made Populous, Powermonger, Flood, Syndicate, Theme Park, Dungeon Keeper, Black & White, Fable, The Movies ... I wish I had such an "extremely lackluster" stable of franchises. Some of those my not have lived up the hype (how could they, and what ever does), but all of them were highly original upon release and in general were highly rated and remain fondly remembered, if not obsessed over.

Oh and every single one of Molyneux's ideas for Fable 2 that I've heard him talking about have been EXTREMELY stupid.

His idea for the Dog is retarded. Why focus so much on this Dog instead of, I don't know, the family, wives... NPCs... Or how about focusing on some of the features that didn't make it into Fable 1?

The fact that he thinks he can create a game that will make the player feel "genuine love" or "genuinely loved" is ridiculous. And anyone feeling this love is a poor, poor, unloved sap.

Why is Molyneux in there? He sucks. The only decent game he's really done was Populous. Everything else has been extremely lackluster... and it's almost 100% his fault with his inability to be honest about his game(s).

I wouldn't mind so much if he was honest right before the games came out... but he continues to claim untrue things until a few months after Release.

I mean, up until the WEEK before Fable came out, I was reading stories about how Fable would provide 100 hours of gameplay. By this time, he should know full-well most of his claims were false... yet, he continued to spew them to sell his game. Just so it will still sell well enough to be granted a lackluster sequel.
