Every game was not set in space like Doom was. I mean if they did GTA Call of Duty, Or GTA Mass Effect or even if the people making GTA ripoffs changed the location of where it was taking place it would be considered less of a clone but until then they will always be clones!

I'd pick this over GTA 4 any day. Vegas is the greatest town in the country and a game fully immersing you in it is more than I can ask for.

It's bad enough it's from Midway but if you go to Ign and read the story it gets worse.

"Your character arrives in Vegas with $50 to his name. After a quick bender, you're off to make connections, crash some parties and build your bank. Unfortunately, this jerk named Preston Boyer is trying to turn Vegas into a family-friendly resort. To stop him, you'll have to complete missions and gigs for the various old-school Vegas factions and revitalize the city. I'd buy it if there was copious amounts of gambling (with lots of different types of games and various types of poker, not just, ugh, texas hold-em) and casino exploration.

I doubt I'd play the actual game beyond that though.

Maybe they should have released this in the gap between GTA:SA and GTA IV. I doubt anybody is going to choose this over a Rockstar game. Also, does anybody else just change the year on the age verifier? I ask this because obviously they think that thing is working or something. It only works to slow me down from seeing the ad.
