He was saying this during a National Team meeting, but nevertheless, this demonstrates that they were allowed to play Playstation and I think he was allowed to play it also when attending regular Roma's training.
So I think this has all to do with discipline.
As kuntaku said, England footballers are probably a bunch of ruthless kids who need discipline.

Fun fact: American Football is an offshoot of rugby invented by an English University (I forget which one). It never really caught on here. I don't actually get why it is called Football in the States, but I'm also not pedantic enough to give a shit and annoy everyone by moaning about it.

I think it was the pitcher from the Texas Rangers who loved the first GH but he was having trouble throwing his usual pitches after playing most of the time during their off days so the coach put two and two together and he had to stop. But that sucks that their banning games for their players like that.
