well, after waiting about 40 minutes (tried 5 times, gave up) to even log in to a lobby, I and 7 other people just sat there in the lobby for nearly 10 minutes. So people just left.

I did finally get in. I think the gameplay would take awhile to get used to. Could be fun...

Played it on 360. Horrible game. Horrible Port. Piss poor trade for loss of DMC4 exclusivity (even if I don't like DMC games, I can't deny those games sell really well and probably would have sold 100,000 systems or more) We should have gotten Dead Rising instead. Hell, I'd take a bad port of Dead Rising. I just want to beat up some zombies dressed like Megaman.

Press the Home button and you can adjust the screen size to about 4 different options. SOme suit filling the PSP screen better than others. Very few games offered wide-screen back then, as wide-screen TVs were quite a rarity at the time.

I like the ps1 downloads and all, but I wish they could figure out some way to make them full screen on the PSP.
I also wish they could bring out some of the more "serious" games from the ps1 library such as Soul Reaver or Vagrant Story.

@Aflack: Likes slushies: Don't forget Crash Team Racing. Naughty Dog's last Crash Bandicoot game came after Warped. At the time (and you could argue that it still is), the game was deeper and more fun than Mario Kart (blasphemy, I know), but anyone who played it appreciated it as so. The story mode was more fleshed out than a simple GP mode, and there was tons of unlockables, secret courses, hidden characters, etc.

There's a couple of Minna No Golf demos as well as the Patapon demo on the Japanese PSN. You have to be logged into your Japanese PS3 account to tranfer them to the PSP though, which will de-certify any other PS1/PSP content you have on their for other regions.

Lost Planet demo is a total bust so far. I won't delete it yet, in case they fix the servers, as it only takes up 231MB. Capcom really are totally screwing the pooch as far as PS3 support goes, though.

I also can't get into a match due to the same reasons Aurahack mentioned. The servers show busy and when I try to make my own, no one joins, no matter how long I leave it there. I'd like to judge Lost Planet myself, if only to support Lee Byun Hun, but I can't due to an online demo that won't play online. I'm sure most people won't give the game a second thought after either seeing the bad port screenshots or trying this demo in frustration.

With this, Turok and Conflict in the past few weeks, it hasn't been a stellar selection. Then again, we did also get Ryu Ga Gotoku demos and I'm sure a lot of people were happy to get Devil May Cry.

Yes, you're missing nostalgia. PS1 classics obviously weren't made for HDTV's. Those who had a PS1 will no doubt find a classic game they grew up with, just like people are doing with VC titles. Obviously NES titles will look like shit on an HDTV too. At least as Sollus said you can play them on a PSP via remote play. Wouldn't it be cool if Nintendo did the same with the Wii and DS? They both have WiFi so I don't see why it can't be done.

I was more excited before I read what was included, no surprises. Does anyone really buy the PSone classics? I tried hot shots golf 2 and deleted it from my hard drive 30 minutes post purchase. They look terrible on a bigscreen HDTV. Am I missing something?

They also added a PSP game, the Go! Puzzle games that were available for PS3 already. Not a big fan of them, however.

I downloaded and started playing the Lost Planet demo... it's multiplayer only with just the one map and it's practically IMPOSSIBLE to find a server that isn't either messed up or full up. You just have to be quick on the draw, I guess.

I've been trying to connect to a game for the past 10 minutes. Either I get "This room is full." (when there are 3 players out 8) or I get "Connection Failed".

I'm a PS3 guy, but I played the Lost Planet demo on the 360 and can honestly say that Capcom did a terrible job with this port. Seriously, the two versions are not even in the same ballpark. The PS3 version looks absolutely terrible and utterly bland. PASS.
