All these things (happiness in the form of the "G" word) were just things before appropriated by a certain subset of individuals to be used as "pride" medallions. This seems fairly arbitrary to me. Now I can't listen to my "Dark Side of the Moon" CD without someone calling me a homo.

Bottom line: This was hilarious, as is the Onion's wont. I have a Wii AND an XBox 360 (Gasp!) and I play them both. I enjoy them both. I don't appreciate the dearth of non-minigame titles for the Wii, but the ones that exist (see NMH, SMG, Zelda TP) are phenomenal.

And yeah, drunk Wii Sports bowling kicks ass.

Grow a pair and admit when something's funny. Offend nobody, or everyone, with abandon. Fuck them if they can't take it.

And then, from that meaning, people started using it as a derogative to mean stupid. The "stupid" meaning that people currently attribute to "gay" was specifically born of bigotry against homosexuals. That's why using it like that is offensive.

I was really pulling for that one, as it is one of my favs on the system. I have never before experienced such realistic battery changing on a home console before... Sometimes I pretend I am in a pit crew and the batteries are like tires for the car and I try to see how fast I can change them. I have never been so immersed!
