Granted it was about 3/4 the price of a brand new game at the time in Japan (March 04), it had a head start and a chance to be polished for the US release. I still feel that for a brand new title coming out the Dejobaan guys did a great job at it. I'm sure in a few months it'll be even better, as was the case with Katamari which had the benefit of 6 months before coming over to the US (Sept 04).

Look up Beautiful Katamari for the 360 =P. Ok, I still liked it somewhat, but they could had done FAAAAR better. Everything about the second one just beats the living hell out of BK.

@Cruz: While YOU might have the dosh to start meeting the latest requirements, a lot of us don't. Some of us have loans/payments and such and can't afford to shell out $600 to upgrade (or more for me, as I'm stuck with a laptop).

There is an INI file in the install to configure/debug certain parameters of play (nothing input specific), and, and it's funny to note that they refer to the "puppet" as a CALAMARI. >_<

Let's call a spade a spade here - it's a downloadable title that's just meant to be colorful, fun and engaging. I too love Katamari but keep in mind that was a full retail game. This one is coming in at 20 bucks, it pays homage to the greats and I can play it at work. Perfect for a quick fix. I didn't see any skewing to the left on mine and I thought the options were on par with what I'd expect from an indie downloadable game.

Unfortunately, I have issues with the demo, main one being that my "puppet" moves forward and skews left by itself from jump street, which makes playing a headache inducing, barftastic grind. There are NO in-game user-configurable options beyond "Sound" "Music" and "Mouse Sensitivity", and all it says concerning input options is a small screen that says "Move using WASD, joystick or mouse".

The install and the website are both devoid of any meanigful help (no readme.txt or any sort of manual in the install, and the "Help" page on line is bereft of anything close to actual gameplay assistance).

I want to play this, but can't. YMMV, but I cannot reccomend...
