Go to the official smash bros website here ([www.smashbros.com]) This shows a recent update that states the sticker "power ups" and explains it. It uses Kirby as an example. The 5th screenshot down proves it. The sticker highlighted is the phone thing used to call other kirby's from The Amazing Mirror. In the area where this theory proves to be where the leaked characters are, you should see an icon of Kirby, Meta Knight, and King Dedede, showing that those characters are either the only ones who can use it or gain additional effects from the sticker, thus proving that this leak is completely true, and we ARE getting Ness, Lucario, and Jigglypuff back. For now as more videos and screenshots are updated onto the web, check for any sticker pages and look in that corner to spot any new characters.

Anyway, I stand by it - Mewtwo is... expendable. I say this not because he's an ineffective character (Pichu is that way), but because he's not that enjoyable of one. It's fun to play as Pichu, whose defeciencies are entertaining. It's just not fun to play as Mewtwo, in my experience, because of his difficulty of use and limited number of effective moves.

Any experienced Smasher will tell you that Mewtwo is bottom of the barrel quality-wise too. He occupies the least competitive tier with Pichu when ranked. I would be happy to see his inclusion among the roster, with Pichu, but if he is replaced with a more entertaining pokemon - like Lucario - I won't be upset. Personally. Me. Just an opinion.

Wind Waker did, and a cell-shaded engine actually takes up less space, and runs more smoothly than most engines, so it wasn't too difficult to run it on the DS. In fact, it would probably strain it (the DS) more to play a DS build of OOT. This is just guesswork though.
I suppose if Wind Waker link was in the game, the cell-shaded look wouldn't actually be cell-shaded, but just emulated. It would only look cell-shaded.
Personally though, I would far rather have Wolf Link than CS/WW Link.

Anyway, I just looked at my memory card for smash Bros Melee - twenty-three names are registered, with fourteen of those people tallying over 100 KOs each. The least used character, with the fewest KOs, least damage dealt, least time played, etc. was Mewtwo. In fact, Mewtwo has been played so little and so poorly that he has never scored a KO against Ganondorf or Bowser.

Yeah... based on my sample of 3500+ fights (on this memory card, at least), I'd say he can be cut.

Anyway, if it is true, omitting Mewtwo and Pichu may make some fans upset, but I would say omitting Marth/Roy would be a much larger omission. Pichu was a clone without a lot of variation from Pikachu (not like the differences between the Links even), and while Mewtwo was original, he occupied the 'Worst character' tier along with Pichu when it came to tourneys or competitions of any kind.

I would like it if Mewtwo was not a playable character, but still showed up in the Subspace Emissary mode. Kinda like Giga Bowser last time around. Then they could 'break' Mewtwo and make him/her/it very tough and much more powerful without sacrificing game mechanics in standard brawls.

That said, Ness had a lot of charm from his first two Smash appearances, and I'm glad to see him back. Jigglypuff was my best character in Melee, and I'll continue kicking ass with her. And Lucario's just cool, so I'm happy.

I think it's too early to assume that. Just because something hasn't been mentioned before the release of the game does NOT mean it has been left out.
People kept thinking Wi-Fi Connection support was left out (even though Nintendo said time and again it would be online) just because the DOJO hadn't mentioned Wi-Fi for a while.

If Ness is returning in Brawl, I think it's safe to assume ALL characters will, even Pichu.

Being a person who has played Mother 3, the character with the arrow over it in the link is Lucas' twin brother Claus. I know people have already said that, but, obviously, not many people in the States have played Mother 3. I want to say the sprite in the bottom left is from the Mother series also, but I don't remember her in any of the games.
I think I can thoroughly enjoy SSBB as long as Ness is in the game..

These characters being in Brawl: NONE of these have been announced, and considering the amount of fan service they're going for in this game (and the fact that all revealed characters are not unlockables), I would say all four of them will be in, probably as the first four unlockables just like in Melee.

So seriously, please stop asking for these four, they're probably in it, and they will not announce them before the game comes out to keep it a surprise.

and Lucario, Both links have a special costume know as dark link, who giggles when he taunts.

The other new ones are Wolf from the Starfox series and R.O.B. the robot who made an appearence in Mariokart DS. Sorry no mega man.

But that was the Full BETA roster so they may have added a few after BOTH of the delays

The game may be a little different - like, we may not get an assist trophy that wouldn't 'play' here (Doshin the Giant?), but other than that, expect the same game.

That image with the Earthbound character, too, definitely shows a connection to Ness and Lucas, so there's no worrying either way.

The inclusion of Dark types and more Ghosts severely weakened him, though.

Lucario would be cool, though I would miss Mewtwo.

Jigglypuff, however, better be back or I'm boycotting the game. Rollout is my move. I will destroy you.

So instead of just using Charrizard, Squirtle, and that leaf pokemon, he could probably use those other pokemon as well.

Nintendo should just make a full-blown Pokemon game for the Wii. Then not only will it print money, but it will start crapping out gold bricks.

I stopped playing pokemon after the 2nd generation (Gold/Silver/Crystal) so any pokemon after that don't excite me much. I have dabbled with the current generation by battling online with a friend's roster, but the game has changed so much since I played.

Lucario fits I have to admit. His popularity is one thing, but I can scarcely remember that one Pokemon movie he was in. It's reasonable to think that they can scrounge a moveset from there.

Jiggs should return in my opinion. Aside from Pikachu, she made constant appearances in the early seasons in the anime hence making her one of the unofficial mascots. Smash 64 and Melee somewhat have vaulted her into mainstream popularity status as well although nowhere near Pikachu.

As for Mewtwo, I can live with him being cut. Seems like his popularity stemed from the fact that he was unquestionably the most broken pokemon in the old games and that's it. He barely made any appearances aside from one or two anime episodes and his 2 movies. And same treatment goes for Pichu who I believe doesn't warrant his own paragraph. What a waste

To recap, assuming that is Jiggs and Lucario we have those two along with Pikachu, Charizard, Ivysaur, and Squirtle as the Pokemon reps. I'm all for more characters, but 6 representatives is a bit pushing it I think.
