What does cosplaying have to do with nerds and gaming? A lot of the characters these nice girls are dressing up as are famous characters from anime/manga as well as video games!
I am almost certainly sure that you do not like BAshcraft's posts about maid cafes. However, the reason maid cafes have come into existance is because of a video game!

Hopefully you have become a bit more educated on this subject and also more open minded about it. :3
