I'm not here to blindly defend anything, and I'm certainly not here to pounce on your questioning of the quality of the mock weapons. I WILL say, however, that a lot of props like those pictured will look significantly better when used in the context of the film and with the appropriate intentional wearing and 'weathering', as well as the lighting of the environments they'd be used in.

That said, I just think it's better that they don't make this franchise into a live action film. The final product would almost invariably have a ridiculous budget and would make neither the Halo fanatic nor the non-player satisfied. Besides, if it got momentum again this year, by the time it premiered, gamers will have probably have considered it to be "so '00s".

Either way, that's all irrelevant to the fact that his presence does nothing for Bungie's lame podcast, and as it turns out, his absence on "1up Yours" doesn't diminish its quality NEARLY as much as I thought it would. Somehow, whoever else is on for a given week more than compensates for Garnett's borderline intolerable ineptitude and forced contrarian posturing. But the 'classic' foursome is still missed here.
