Oh, NerfHaven. Takes me back. A couple years ago I was modding Nightfinders and Mavericks for a bunch of my friends every time one of their birthdays popped up, and having annoying nerfwars in our dorm halls. I always thought about modding two Mavericks in the style of ebony and ivory from DMC, but decided I'm just not THAT geeky. Plus, I'm sure someone else out there has already done it, and better than I could. This lancer is quite sexy though.

On the subject of Nerf and other types of toy guns, I too agree that the models are getting more and more realistic everyday. Attachable scopes, bipods, etc. I mean, take this example: not Nerf, but Laser Tag. It's still pretty professional looking:

There tons of Longshot nerf mods all over the internet. You should probably look up the shotgun reload mod as a starter, since the bolt-action is slow.

Forsaken_angel is really an awesome nerf modder. I did one of his other mods for that Nerf Longshot that allowed it to fire 100 feet from about 50 feet. He has a great eye for how those things work. The crazy thing is that this nerf gun is still a working Longshot.

To people asking if he's selling, I doubt it. He doesn't usually sell his mods, which is probably why he shows people exactly how to make them.

I got really into nerf guns about 2 years ago when I started college, because there was a giant Humans vs. Zombies game. I had nerf guns when I was a kid, but not really had enough people to have shoot outs with. It's a lot of fun.

Nerf modding is so much fun. I've got one of those Nerf sniper rifles (a Longshot) and something like half a dozen of the Maverick revolvers. I haven't had the guts to mod the Longshot yet, but the Mavericks are practically made to be modded. They're only like $8 apiece and pretty easy to disassemble. I've got a steampunky one painted deep red with a brassy cylinder and two that look normal but have been upgraded with a couple of popular functional mods for easier reloading and increased distance.
